Born Bradford, 1874. Son of H. Allsopp. Both parents deceased.

Husband of Emma Jane Allsopp at 4, Penns Buildings, Cleveland Street, Hull (War Pension address). They had one daughter, Kate, born on 25/2/1896. He was a Fisherman (also recorded as a Master Mariner) and Labourer. Also resided in Bradford, wher ehe had a dependent, Eleanor A Radford. Described as under 5 foot tall, 36-38 inch chest, 110 lbs weight

Served as a Corporal in the Royal Engineers, Inland Water Company. Enlisted at Aldershot, on 6/10/1915, aged 41 years and 4 months. Sent to France, on 23/10/1915. Returned to England on 13/6/1917.

Died of Acute Bronchitis & inflated heart, at Shirley Warren Military Hospital, Southampton, on 11/01/1919, 11am. Buried at Hollybrook Cemetery. His army effects were left to his widow Emman and daughter, Kate.
