WORKED AS A COAL TIPPER. LIVED AT 21 , EMPRINGHAM STREET, HULL AND 7 , EXCHANGE STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESSES)

MEDICAL RECORDS STATE THAT HE WAS 5 FOOT 10 INCHES TALL, 130 LBS, 37 INCH CHEST. RELIGION: PRIMITIVE METHODIST.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 10/12/1915. SERVED IN THE 9TH ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS. DIED OF SEPTIC BRONCHITIS ON 28/03/1918, AGED 32. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE RAMC MEMORIAL BOARD, WENLOCK BARRACKS, HULL.

BURIED AT HULL WESTERN CEMETERY.
