BORN DUDLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE, 26/07/1875. SON OF JOHN THOMAS ADDISON (1855-1940) & HANNAH MARIA ANDREWS (1857-1899).
HE MARRIED IN HULL ON 02/03/1901. HUSBAND OF MARGARET ANN FOSTER (1879-1966) & SEVEN CHILDREN. THEY LIVED AT THIS WAR PENSION ADDRESS.
HE WAS A LABOURER, LIGHTERMAN AND TIME EXPIRED SOLDIER WHO HAD SERVED WITH THE 3RD EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. (His Army Enlistment papers shoiw him to be 5ft 5ins tall and weighing 140lbs, he had hazel eyes, dark brown hair and was shown as Church of England).
HE RE-ENLISTED ON 21/O8/1914. SENT TO FRANCE ON 27/12/1914. DISCHARGED FROM THE SERVICE DUE TO DEBILITY (PERFORATION OF GASTRIC ULCER), ON 05/09/1917. DIED OF WOUNDS IN HULL, AGED 46.
