BORN HULL 1891. SON OF JOHNATHAN & ISABELLA ABBOTT, OF 47 , WITTY STREET, HULL. HE ALSO LIVED AT 32, CLYDE STREET IN 1911 & 42. (NAVAL RECORDS).
HE WORKED AS A SHIP'S FIREMAN AND WAS UNMARRIED. HE WAS LOST AT SEA ON 21/5/1915,AGED 22. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL TIMES 19/06/1915.
Sabrina (H 346) FV was a British registered fishing vessel of 179grt that was probably mined by the cruiser Hamburg when 160 miles ENE of Spurn Head Light Vessel.
