HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS PRIVATE, 3/6703, 6TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, AT GALLIPOLI, 09/08/1915, AGED 41.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 23/08/1916.
