Born Beverley, 1882. Only child of Jane Harwood (formerly Taylor) and step father, George Arnott, of 6, Norwood Dale, Beverley. Worked as a ship's Joiner. Enlisted at Hull. Served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, 335th (Home Service) Field Ambulance (Territorial Force.) Died of wounds, on 16/11/1918, aged 36. Buried at St Martins, Beverley.
