DIED OF WOUNDS, AS A PRISONER OF WAR, ON 25/08/1918, AGED 22. HE HAD MARRIED EDITH CHERREY MASON, IN HULL, IN 1918. HIS WIFE EDITH, BABY, AND MOTHER-IN-LAW LIVED 171, BLENHEIM STREET, PRINCES AVENUE, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 25/08/1919. HE LEFT HIS ONLY SISTER, EVELYN CARD
HE NEVER SAW HIS ONLY SON, CYRIL OLIVER CARD, WHO WAS BORN ON 15/09/1918.
