ROBERT SEYMOUR CARR, HE ENLISTED IN LINCOLN. SERVED AS PRIVATE, 9424, 1ST LINCOLNSHIRE REGIMENT, DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 26/05/1915, AGED 23.

HE LEFT BROTHERS ROBERT, PERCY, WINIFRED & ALBERT. HIS BROTHER, STANLEY EDWIN CARR, ENLISTED IN THE TERRITORIALS, AT HULL, ON 13/01/1914. SERVED WITH THE 1/4TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 16/04/1915. RECIEVED GUNSHOT WOUNDS TO HIS LEG, ON 26/04/1915. DIED OF WOUNDS AT AT WIMMEREUX HOSPITAL, ON 29/04/1915, AGED 17. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 08/05/1915.
