Coggin, William Henry

BORN HULL 26/07/1868. SON OF WILLIAM AND FRANCES COGGIN, OF HULL. HUSBAND OF EDITH COGGIN, OF 10 WATERLOO STREET, HULL, (PENSION ADDRESS) AND 2 DEIGHTON PLACE, CHARLES STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). A FORMER VICTORIA DOCK WORKER. SERVED AS A TRIMMER, IN THE ROYAL NAVLA RESERVE ON THE TRAWLER “OWL”. HE FELL OVERBOARD IN ENGLISH CHANNEL. DROWNED, ON 21/10/1914, AGED 50. HE LEFT A WIDOW AND THREE CHILDREN WHO MOVED TO 14 LILLIES AVENUE, KENT STREET, HULL. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL TIMES, ON 28/08/1915, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
HE IS BURIED AT HASLAR ROYAL NAVAL CEMETERY, HAMPSHIRE
