BORN HULL 1887. SON OF ALEXANDER DONNISON (1860-1934) & EMILY SMITH. HE MARRIED ETHEL STEWART, AT HULL, IN 1908, AGED 21.HIS WIFE ETHEL & DAUGHTER EMILY DONNISON, LIVED AT 46, RUGBY STREET, HULL. DROWNED ON 15/11/1915, AGED 29. REMEMBERED IN THE LOST TRAWLERMAN OF HULL RECORDS.
Built as the EDWARD B. CARGILL for Cargill Steam Trawling Co Ltd, Hull; Yard No 206; Date of completion: 23/08/1898; 10 knots; In Jan 1914, tonnage adjusted to 73.7 net tons.
On the 15/11/1915 the Hull steam trawler EDWARD B. CARGILL (H.412) foundered and was lost after detonating a mine off Spurn Point, North Sea.
