Farrell, Thomas Henry

Born Hull 1886. Eldest son of Daniel and Emma Farrell, of 101, Thomas Street, Hull (1911 Census). Son of a General Labourer. Brother to Emma, John, Dan, George and May. He worked as a Dock Labourer.

Married at Hull in 1911, aged 26. Husband of Kate Proctor Farrell, of 3, Crackoft Terrace, Nornabell Street, Hull and 17, Jennings Terrace, Merrick Street, Hull (War pension adress)

Enlisted on 28 Sept 1914. Served overseas in East Yorkshire regiment and Army Ordnance Corps. Admitted to No:2 General Hospital on 1 Oct 1918. Discharged with sickness on 13 Feb 1919. Awarded the Silver War badge (No: B140548). After the war he moved to 17 Jennings Terrace, Warwick Street, Hull and became a Transport worker for F Crossland Stevedores

He died at Hull on 24/05/1928, aged 42.
