HIS FATHER ROBERT & BROTHER, HENRY HADLOW ALSO SERVED. HE WORKED FOR SISSSON BROTHER, HULL. HE JOINED THE ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS (TERRITORIALS) ON 29/04/1908. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 6 INCHES TALL, 34 INCH CHEST. SERVED IN FRANCE, FROM 12/11/1914. DISCHARGED FROM THE ARMY, WITH MYALGIA, ON 19/05/1915, HAVING SERVED FOR 7 YEARS AND 21 DAYS. UNABLE TO WALK UNLESS WITH A STICK. HE RE-ENLISTED ON 11/12/1915. HE DIED ON 05/03/1919, AGED 31.
BURIED AT HULL NORTHERN CEMETERY. HE LEFT £119 IN HIS WILL TO HIS WIDOW, MARY JANE HADLOW, OF 4 MILTON ROAD, HERNE HILL, SURREY. HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, ALDRIDGE EDWARD HADLOW, “A” COMPANY, 12TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, DIED ON 17/04/1916, AGED 26.
