Hall, Henry Harold

Born at Beverley. Son of Gibson Hall (1859-1901) and Rebecca Hall (1864-1940); He had two brothers, Walter and John. He worked as a Postman in Driffield, living at 7 Cranwell Street, Driffield (1911 Census)

Married on 29/06/1912. Husband of Annie Hall, of 2, Regent Street, Beverley. They had two sons, Jack (1912-1985) and Harold (1915-1989).

He enlisted in the East Yorkshire regiment. Transferred to the 35th Northumberland Fusiliers, a Labour Battalion. Discharged on 17/07/1918. Died on 12/10/1920, aged 33.

He left £423 in his will to his widow Annie at 2 Regent Street, Beverley (Probate Address).

He is buried at St John’s Cemetery, Beverley.
