Born New Holland, Lincs, 1897. Enlisted in Hull.
Fifth Son of William Edwin Harrison (died 13th June 1926 aged 69), and Azubah Westoby (wife, died 4th September 1939 aged 77), of 36 Manchester Square, and 1, Yarborough Terrace, New Holland, Hull (CWGC & War Pension address). Son of an Insurance Agent. He had five brothers and one sister, Blanche.
He was a Grocer’s Assistant.
Served in the 1/5th Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action, on 3 Jan 1918, aged 21. Buried at Cambrin Military Cemetery, France. His grave inscription reads – NEVER FORGOT SHALL OUR DEAR ONES BE SAFE ON THE STORMLESS SHORE
He is also commemorated on the family grave at Barrow-Upon-Humber Cemetery – “One of the Best”.
