Born Howden, Yorkshire, 1894. Son of Jon Frederick Harrison (1858-1927) and Fanny Harrison (1860-1939), of Howden and  44, Midway Grove, Gipsyville, Hull (War Pension address). Son of a rural police constable and later farmer with a small holding. He had two brothers and two sisters, Charlotte and Dora L.

He worked as a wagoner and farm servant at Huggate, Wet Wang, Pocklington (1911 Census).

Enlisted at Scarborough. Served in the 5th Yorkshire Hussars (Alexandra, Princes of Wales’ Own). Died at Newcastle, on 09/01/1915, aged 21.

He is buried at, St Edith Churchyard, Bishop Wilton, East Riding of Yorkshire and recorded on the ww1 memorial there with his elder brother, Reginald Harrison, 17524, 5th Hussars, who died at Derby on 19 Dec 1917, aged 25.
