BORN HULL 24/03/1886. SON OF CLARA ANN BERRIMAN (1857-1924) AND WILLIAM HEBBLEWHITE (1855-1931), OF AND BRANDSBURTON.

HE EMIGRATED TO WINNIPEG, CANADA & WORKED AS A FARMER. HE ENLISTED IN THE 100TH WINNIPEG GRENEDIERS A MILITAI REGIMENT. IN CANADA. ENLISTED IN WINNIPEG, ON 03/08/1915.  DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 8.5 INCHES TALL, 37 -40 INCH CHEST SIZE, GREY EYES, DARK BROWN HAIR, CHURCH OF ENGLAND RELIGION. SERVED WITH THE 78TH CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. WAS KILLED AT VIMY RIDGE, ON 08/04/1917, AGED 30. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE VIMY MEMORIAL, PAS DE CALAIS, FRANCE.

HIS BROTHER PTE., FRED HEBBLEWHITE, EYR, WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 13/11/16, AGED 25 AND LIVED WITH HIS AUNT, KATE PLATT, AT 255 HOLDERNESS ROAD, HULL.

BOTH ARE COMMEMORATED ON THE BRANDESBURTON WW1 MEMORIAL, WHICH LISTS SEVEN NAMES.
