Holborn, Harry

BORN HULL 1883. SON OF RICHARD (DICK) HOLBORN (1852-1913) & ELIZA BOGG (1852-1934), OF WITHERNSEA.  HE HAD FIVE BROTHERS AND TWO SISTERS. WORKED FOR BRITISH OIL AND CAKE MILLS. ALSO A RESERVIST WITH THE 2ND WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. ENLISTED SCARBOROUGH. SERVED WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE IN FRANCE FROM SEPTEMBER 1914. HE WAS REPORTED MISSING ON 31/07/1917, AGED 34. HE IS BURIED AT HOOGE CRATER CEMETERY, BELGIUM.

HE MARRIED AT PETERBOROUGH, IN 1908. HIS WIFE, ISABELLA AMOUR (1887-1964) AND SON CHARLES, LIVED AT 6 BRIGHTON TERRACE, KENT STREET, HULL (HDM 10/09/1917)
