BORN HULL 06/05/1894. FOURTH SON OF HENRY HUTCHINSON (1856-1925) & ESTHER BIRCH (1856-1934), AT 12, MARY ANN TERRACE, SCULCOATES LANE, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). ONE OF FIVE SONS. HE WAS EMPLOYED AS A MACHINE ATTENDANT IN A PAPER MILL (1911) AND AT THE HULL RADIATOR WORKS.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A PRIVATE IN THE 6TH EAST YORKSHIRE PIONEERS. LEFT ENGLAND ON 14/07/1915. DIED AT GALLIPOLLI, ON 09/08/1915, AGED 20. UNMARRIED. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WENT TO HIS FATHER, HENRY.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH, ON 12/11/1915, AND IN THE HULL TIMES, ON 13/11/1915, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
