BORN SKIDBY, 1889. SON OF THOMAS PARKINSON INGHAM (1854-1926) & HANNAH THACKER (1858-1930), OF SKIDBY, HULL. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND SEVEN SISTERS. WORKED AS A WAGONNER IN SKIDBY.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 2722 EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. TRANSFERRED TO THE SHEFFIELD PALS. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 11/05/1917, AGED 28. COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
