LATER THEY MOVED TO 7 IVY DENE, PARROTT STREET, OFF SELBY STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE WAS A RAILWAY RULLEYMAN AND LOADER, FOR THE NORTH EASTERN RAILWAYS, AT KINGSTON STREET WAREHOUSE.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. WAS POSTED TO THE 6TH EAST KENT REGIMENT (KNOWN AS “THE BUFFS”. HE DIED IN ACTION, AT LOOS, ON 13/10/1915, AGED 34.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH ON THE 8TH & 11TH NOVEMBER 1915. * ALSO IN THE HULL TIMES, ON 06/11/1915, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
