BORN HULL 1878. WIFE ADA LARRARD, OF 59 , REGENT STREET, HULL. SON OF THOMAS AND AMY LARRARD.
HE WAS WOUNDED IN THE RIGHT ARM BY SHELL FIRE, ON THE 4TH OCTOBER, CARRYING A WOUNDED OFFICER TO THE DRESSING STATION. HIS ARM HAD TO BE AMPUTATED AT BOULOGNE GENERAL HOSPITAL.  HE DIED OF HEART FAILURE TWO DAYS AFTER THE OPERATION, ON 10/10/1917, AGED 39. HE IS BURIED AT BOULOGNE CEMETERY, FRANCE

PRIOR TO ENLISTING HE WAS EMPLOYED AT A CORPORATION SWORN WEIGHER. HE LEFT A WIDOW. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 20TH OCTOBER 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *.
