BORN HULL 1897. SON OF WILLIAM AND ELLEN MILLINGTON, OF 61 GLASGOW STREET HULL. LOST AT SEA ON THE TRAWLER, “CORNELIAN, 14/01/1916, AGED 18. HE IS LISTED ON THE GALSGOW STREET ROLL OF HONOUR AND ON THE WW1 MEMORIAL AT ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, NEWINGTON, HULL. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 06/10/1916.

HIS BROTHERS, ALSO SERVED, GEORGE MILLINGTON, 3RD EYR. AND JAMES CHARLES MILLINGTON, EYR AT 12 MARMADUKE STREET, HULL.

Lost in the North Sea, on the Hull steam trawler CORNELIAN (H506) Sank with all hands, on 14th January 1916.
