BORN HULL 03/04/1899 AT 68 OXFORD STREET, HULL. YOUNGEST SON OF ENOCH NOZEDAR (1860-1948) AND MARY ELLEN NOZEDAR (1860-1929), OF 51 BARMSTON STREET, HULL. SON OF A DOCK LABOURER. ONE OF 13 CHILDREN. HE WAS A FORMER RECKITTS EMPLOYEE AT THEIR CANNISTERS WORKS, STONEFERRY, HULL. HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 29613 EAST RIDING YEOMANRY. HE TRANSFERRED TO THE 12TH SUFFOLK REGIMENT. WHERE HE SERVED AS A PLATTON SCOUT. BY ALL ACCOUNTS HE WAS A GOOD SOLDIER AND POPULAR. HE WAS KILLED BY A SNIPER, WHILE SCOUTING, ON 20/10/1918, AGED 19. HIS NAME WAS LISTED ON THE HULL BOYS CLUB MEMORIAL, ROPER STREET AND ON THE ST CHARLES BORROMEO CATHOLIC CHURCH MEMORIAL. HE IS BURIED AT SPIERE (ESPIERRES) CHURCHYARD, WEST-VLAANDEREN, BELGIUM.
