BORN HULL 03/04/1899 AT 68 OXFORD STREET, HULL. YOUNGEST SON OF ENOCH NOZEDAR (1860-1948) AND MARY ELLEN HILL (1860-1929), OF 51 BARMSTON STREET, HULL AND 37, SWANN STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). SON OF A DOCK LABOURER. ONE OF 13 CHILDREN.

HE WAS A FORMER RECKITT’S EMPLOYEE AT THEIR CANNISTER WORKS, STONEFERRY, HULL.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 29613 EAST RIDING YEOMANRY, OF WHICH HEE SERVED FOR TWO YEARS. HE TRANSFERRED TO THE 12TH SUFFOLK REGIMENT. WHERE HE SERVED AS A PLATOON SCOUT. BY ALL ACCOUNTS HE WAS A GOOD SOLDIER AND POPULAR. HE WAS KILLED BY A SNIPER, WHILE SCOUTING, ON 20/10/1918, AGED 19. HE IS BURIED AT SPIERE (ESPIERRES) CHURCHYARD, WEST-VLAANDEREN, BELGIUM.

HIS NAME WAS LISTED ON THE HULL BOYS CLUB MEMORIAL, ROPER STREET,HULL.
