BORN HULL 30/09/1883. SON OF GEORGE PALLISTER (1846-1884) & MARY ANN ALICE GRAY (1857-1938). HE MARRIED EDITH WILSON (1884-1970) AT ST MARKS CHURCH, HULL, ON 04/09/1906. THEY HAD THREE SONS AND A DAUGHTER. HE WORKED AS A PRESSMAN FOR THE HULL OIL COMPANY. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 2 INCHES TALL, 34.5 INCH CHEST SIZE, 115 LBS WEIGHT.

HE ENLISTED HULL, ON 29/01/1915. HIS ARMY ADDRESS WAS 3 HODGSON TERRACE, HODGSON STREET, HULL. TRAINED AT POCKLINGTON AND RIPON, HE SERVED IN THE HULL PALS, 13TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, IN EGYPT AND FRANCE. WAS KILLED AT THE BATTLE OF SERRE, ON 13/11/1916, AGED 33.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW EDITH (NOW ANSON)

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 21ST APRIL 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
