Robison, Edward Mercer

BORN SEAMER, YORKS 1882. LIVED HULL. ENLISTED HULL. SON OF JOHN ALEXANDER ROBISON (1842-1919) & MARY BELLA ROBISON (1850-1901), OF 403 ANLABY ROAD, HULL. HE HAD A BROTHER, JAMES, AND SISTER, MIRRIAM MARIA ROBISON.  HE SPENT SOME TIME WORKING IN CANADA, BEFORE RETURNING HOME IN 1911. HE LIVED IN HULL. AND ENSLISTED IN HULL.

HE SERVED WITH THE 25TH LONDON REGIMENT. DIED OF DYSENTRY, IN KENYA, ON 10/04/1916, AGED 32. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOWED FATHER, JOHN, WHO DIED IN 1919 AT 403 ANALABY ROAD, HULL (PROBATE ADDRESS). HE LEFT BROTHER JAMES (1878-1957) AND SISTER MIRIAM MARIA ROBISON (1880-1938)

HE IS BURIED AT VOI CEMETERY, KENYA, EAST AFRCIA. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “THY WILL BE DONE”
