Enlisted at Driffield. Formerly, Trooper, 2590, Household Battalion. Transferred to the 1st Irish Guards. Died of wounds, at 12th Gen Hospital, France, on 29/05/1918, aged 22. Buried at Saint Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
