HE MARRIED EMMA ELIZABETH ATKINSON, AT HULL REGISTRY OFFICE, ON 20/05/1911. HIS WIFE EMMA AND THREE CHILDREN, CHARLOTTE, GEORGE AND ANNIE. THEY LIVED AT 5 EAST DOCK TERRACE, LEE SMITH STREET, HULL (ARMY RECORDS ADDRESS).

ENLISTED HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 38467 EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. TRANSFERRED TO THE 2/4TH YORK AND LANCASTER REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 07/12/1917, AGED 33. HIS WAR PENSION AND ARMY EFFECTS WENT TO HIS WIDOW, EMMA.
