Skidmore, Arnold

Born Brighouse, Halifax, 1897. Son of Charles and Alice Skidmore. Served three years in borstal for burglary and theft, on 13/01/1914, at Brighouse (Wakefield Prison Records). He served as Private, 185187, East Yorkshire Regiment. Transferred to Private, 19062, Machine Gun Corps, during the war. Posted overseas, on 18/08/1915. Drowned at Salonika, on 19/04/1919. Miss Foster lived at this address and requested information about him, in the Hull Daily Mail, 16/05/1919.
