EMPLOYED AS A CLERK FOR THE HULL & BARNSLEY RAILWAYS. ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 11/04/1917 AS A PRIVATE. COMMISSIONED AS A SECOND LIEUTENANT, IN THE ROYAL AIR FORCE. KILLED ON 11/06/1918, AGED 19.

ON HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL ROH. HIS NAME IS RECORDED ON THE COTTINGHAM WW1 MEMORIAL.

HIS NAME IS INSCRIBED AS HARRY THOMPSON ON THE KIRKELLA WAR MEMORIAL AT ST ANDREWS’ CHURCH.
