Todd, William

Born Hull 1889, Son of William Todd (1851-1901) and Rose Hannah Beal (1853-1946). His parents ran a Jeweller and pawnbroker business, living at 13 Prince Street, Hull (1911 Census). He had four brothers and three sisters. William Todd, was an antiques and silver dealer, living at the same address.

William was lost on the vessel “Eastward Ho H415”, on 17/01/1915, aged 26. He is Commemorated on the Hessle Road, Naval memorial, Hull. There is no CWGC record of his death.

His brother, Wilfred Todd, 140468, Labour Corps, lived at 130 Goddard Avenue, Hull (War Pension address) and died in 1928, leaving his widow, Minnie.
