HE ENLISTED IN GRIMSBY. JOINED THE 1ST LINCOLNSHIRE YEOMANRY. DIED AT SEA, ON 11/11/1915, AGED 36, ON THE STEAM SHIP ‘MERCIAN’ AT GALIPOLLI. COMMEMORATED ON THE HELLES MEMORIAL, TURKEY. A SINGLE MAN. HE LEFT £272 IN HIS WILL, TO HIS BROTHER, WILLIAM WARWICK, A SADDLER, AND BROTHER IN LAW, ARTHUR NICHOLSON, A PUB LANDLORD
