HIS WIFE FLORENCE MAUD MARLING, LIVED AT 79 CHILTERN STREET, HULL. WORKED AS A FRUIT MERCHANT CLERK. HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 17/10/1914, AGED 22. SERVED AS A DRIVER, IN THE 2ND NORTHUMBRIAN BRIGADE, ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY.  DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 3 INCHES TALL, 126 LBS WEIGHT, 35.5 INCH CHEST, GREY EYES, BROWN HAIR, TATTOOS ON RIGHT FOREARM.
