HE LIVED WITH HIS GRANDPARENTS, JOSEPH AND MARY ANN MARROW, AT 13, LINWOOD TERRACE, DANSOM LANE, HULL (1891-1911 CENSUS RECORDS). HE WAS A BILL POSTER.
HE MARRIED MARGARET DUFFEY (1888-1928), AT HULL IN 1911. THEY HAD TWO CHILDREN, JOHN MONTO & MARY,
ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 34899, LINCOLNSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TO FRANCE MARCH 1917. TRANSFERRED TO THE 1ST DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S (WILTSHIRE) REGIMENT. DIED OF SHELL WOUNDS, TO THE ABDOMEN, ON 23/10/1918, AGED 30.
HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW, MARGARET, AT 8, WALCOTT STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). WEEKLY WAR PENSION WAS 25/5.
BURIED AT INCHY COMMUNAL CEMETERY, NORD, FRANCE.
