HE ENLISTED AT HULL, ON 23/04/1917. SERVED IN THE 15TH DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 27/04/1918, AGED 18. COMMEMORATED ON THE TYNE COT MEMORIAL, BELGIUM.
