HE MARRIED AT SCARBOROUGH, IN 1903, AGED 22. HIS WIFE, NELLIE RIPON ATKINSON, LIVED AT 3 HERBERTS TERRACE, BRIGHTON STREET, HULL. HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A DRIVER, IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 08/09/1915. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 29/07/1917, AGED 36. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW. HIS WIFE REMARRIED TO BECOME MRS MURRAY.
