HE WAS SKIPPER OF THE STEAM TRAWLER ‘SABRINA’. LOST AT SEA, ON 21/05/1915, AGED 43. HIS NAME IS RECORDED IN THE LOST TRAWLERMAN OF HULL RECORDS. HIS ONLY BROTHER, GEORGE BLANSCHARD, (33), TRIMMER, ON THE HMT ‘GAMBRI’ DROWNED ON 18/01/1918. HE LEFT FOUR SISTERS.
