HE MARRIED AT ST CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, HULL, ON 25TH JULY 1914. HUSBAND OF MARY ELLEN KEOGH, AT 63, SEATON STREET, FOUNTAIN ROAD, HULL (WAR PENSION AND ARMY RECORDS ADDRESS). THEY HAD TWO CHILDREN.
HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 11/12/1915. CALLED UP ON 01/02/1917. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 24/02/1917. TRAINED AT ETAPLES, FRANCE. SERVED WITH THE 8TH YORK AND LANCASTER REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 07/06/1917, AGED 33. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 18/07/1917.
