Cavill, Edmund (Ted)

BORN HULL 1892. SON OF CHARLES EDWARD CAVILL (1864-1944) & MARGARET ELLEN ROBINSON 1862-1897), OF 2, SHARPE SQUARE, EGGINGTON STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE HAD A BROTHER AND SISTER. WORKED AS A CHAIN LAD FOR THE NORTH EASTERN RAILWAYS AND LIVED AT COURTNEY STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS).

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A DRIVER, IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLEY. DIED A PRISONER OF WAR, IN GERMANY, ON 24/09/1918, AGED 26.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER AT 2 SHARPE SQUARE, EGGINGTON STREET, HULL, (PENSION ADDRESS).

HIS BROTHER CHARLES CAVILL SERVED IN THE ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORP AND SURVIVED THE WAR.
