Born Beverley 1897. Resided Beverley. Enlisted South Shields. Son of Mrs. Waters, of 8, Crown Terrace, Lairgate, Beverley. Served with the 19th Durham Light Infantry. Died of wounds, on 05/11/1917, aged 20. He is buried in Belgium. His grave inscription, reads, “EVER REMEMBERED BY WHAT HE HATH DONE”.
