BORN HULL 1883. AKA ‘EDDIE’. ONLY SON OF JOHN (JACK) DAVISON (1852-1918) & ANNIE ELIZA STONES (1855-1927), OF 91 JALLAND STREET, HULL. HE HAD AN OLDER SISTER, ALICE AMELIA WING, OF 91 JALLAND STREET, HULL.

HE MARRIED ETHEL LOUISA THORLEY (1885-1972), AT ST MATTHEWS CHURCH, HULL, ON 26/01/1914. THEY HAD TWO CHILDREN, EDNA AND CHARLES, AND LIVED AT 7 ROWLAND AVENUE, FIELD STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION & ARMY ADDRESS). EMPLOYED AS A BARMAN.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 22/05/1916, AGED 33 YEARS AND 5 MONTHS. HE ARRIVED IN FRANCE, ON 04/12/1916. SERVED WITH THE 13TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. WAS KILLED AT OPPY WOOD, ON 01/05/1917, AGED 34. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW, ETHEL.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 09/06/1917, & 30/04/1918.
