BORN HULL 06/02/1901. SON OF CHARLES DENNISON (1872-1938) & ALICE D’ARCY (1874-1947), OF 15 GRANGE STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). SON OF AN IRON FOUNDER. THE FORTH OF SEVEN CHILDRE. THE FAMILY LIVED AT 4 BRESSEMER TERRACE, LORNE STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS). HE SERVED IN THE ROYAL NAVAL RESERVE, AS A DECK BOY ON THE MINESWEEPER TRAWLER, “JOHN GILMAN”. HE DIED OF INFLUENZA, ON 14/10/1918, AGED 18. HE IS BURIED AT HULL’S HEDON ROAD CEMETERY.
HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, JW DENNISON, EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, WAS BADLY WOUNDED ON THE SOMME, AGED 19 AND IS PHOTOGRAPED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, 21/07/1916.
