HE EMIGRATED TO CANADA, WHERE HE WORKED AS A PAINTER.

HE ENLISTED IN VANCOUVER, ON 01/02/1916. ARRIVED IN ENGLAND, ON 24/08/1916. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 05/12/1916. SERVED IN “B” COMPANY, 121ST CANADIAN EXPEDITION FORCE (ONTARION). REPORTED WOUNDED, MISSING AND PRESUMED KILLED AT VIMY RIDGE, ON 09/04/1917, AGED 34. COMMEMORATED ON THE VIMY RIDGE MEMORIAL, FRANCE.

HIS WIFE, MARY ELIZABETH HAY (NEE EDMOND) LIVED BRAINARD, ALBERTA, CANADA.

HIS BROTHER, GUNNER, GEORGE FEATHERSTONE EDMOND, RFA, WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 23/09/1918, AGED 35 AND IS COMMEMORATED ON THE VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
