HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS PRIVATE, 241883, 5TH BORDER REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 01/10/1916, AGED 19.
HE IS BURIED AT WARLENCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “REST IN PEACE”
