Harrison, Royal

BORN HULL 1892. SECOND SON OF ROBERT V & SUSAN HARRISON – 10 BELGRAVE TERRACE, ETON STREET, HULL, (1911 CENSUS). HE WORKED AS A BARMAN. HIS OTHER BROTHER, THOMAS V HARRISON ALSO LIVED HERE AND WAS AN ASSISTANT IN A FURNISHING BUSINESS. THEIR FATHER WAS A MARINE FIREMAN.

HE MARRIED AND HIS WIFE, AMY, LIVED AT 36. SELBY STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). THEY HAD NO CHILDREN.
ROYAL HAARISON, ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 2951 EYR. TRANSFERRED TO THE 150TH MACHINE GUN CORPS. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 10/12/1916, AGED 24.

BURIED AT ABBEVILLE BRITISH MILITARY CEMETERY, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW, AMY. (She received a weekly war pension of 13 shillings and 9 pence, on 18th June 1917)

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 8TH NOVEMBER 1916, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH.
