HIS NAME IS RECORDED ON TOWER HILL, NAVAL MEMORIAL LONDON AND IN THE REGISTER OF LOST TRAWLERMAN OF HULL RECORDS. HE LEFT £255 IN HIS WILL TO HIS WIDOW ADA JACKSON AT THIS PROBATE ADDRESS. THEY HAD FOUR DAUGHTERS AND WERE LIVING AT 10 HILDA’S GROVE, HARROW STREET (1911 CENSUS)
Sebastian was a 172 GRT steam trawler completed in 1906 by Mackie & Thomson for Hellyer’s Steam Fishing Co. Ltd. On May 22nd, 1915, the ‘SEBASTIAN’ left Hull, and went missing. She was not heard of ever since.
