MARRIED AT HULL SCULCOATES, ON 23/08/1910. HE WORKED AS A GENERAL LABOURER, LIVING AT 8, SYDEHAM TERACE, SEATON STREET, HULL (ARMY RECORDS ADDRESS). HIS WIFE ALICE AMELIA KIRMAN, ALSO LIVED AT 17 COBDEN COTTAGE, WESTMORELAND STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). THEY HAD TWO SONS WHO BOTH SERVED IN WW2.
FRED KIRMAN, WORKED AS A GENERAL LABOURER FOR JOHN GOODS AND SON, HULL. HE HAD ALSO BEEN A TERRITORIAL SOLDIER, WITH THE EAST RIDING, ROYAL GARRISON ARTILLERY, SINCE 27/05/1910. HE JOINED THE SAME REGIMENT, IN HULL, ON 04/08/1914. HE WAS DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 10 INCHES TALL, 38 INCH CHEST SIZE, GOOD VISION AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT. HE DIED OF TUBERCULOSIS OF THE LUNG, ON 02/06/1915, AGED 29.
