HE EMIGRATED TO HAZENMORE, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA AND BECAME A FARMER. ENLISTED 14/01/1916. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT 6 INCHES TALL, 37 INCH CHEST, BROWN EYES, DARK HAIR AND DARK COMPLEXION AND A METHODIST. HE SERVED IN FRANCE WITH THE CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. WOUNDED THREE TIMES. KILLED IN ACTION ON 15/08/1917. AGE 31. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE LOOS MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
