HE ENLISTED IN HULL, ON 23/03/1916, AGED 40. DESCRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 4.5 INCHES TALL, 127 LBS WEIGHT, 35 INCH CHEST, THREE TATTOO MARKS ON LEFT FOREARM. FORMERLY, PRIVATE, 25655, EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 06/12/1916. TRANSFERRED TO THE 2ND DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. KILLED DURING AN AIR RAID, AT ETAPLES, ON 19/05/1918, AGED 42.

SHE WAS AWARDED A WEEKLY WAR PENSION OF 33 SHILLINGS AND FOUR PENCE, ON 06/12/1918, FOR HERSELF AND SON, NORMAN GUEST, BORN ON 09/11./1913.
