ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS. DIED ON 29/05/1918, AGED 19. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 31/07/1919. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE SOISSONS MEMORIAL. HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE ST MARKS STREET MEMORIAL. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS AUNT, CHARLOTTE.
