BORN GLAMORGAN 1896. SON OF CHARLES FREDERICK LOVE (1860-1931) & ROSE MARY BADGER (1864-1945), OF THE HULL CO-OPERATIVE, 30 ALBION STREET, HULL. HE SERVED AS A SIGNALLER AND GUNNER IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. WAS KILLED BY A SHELL IN THE TRENCHES, MAKING A DUGOUT. HE DIED ON 27/03/1917, AGED 21.
HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL, FRANCE, TO THE MISSING.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 12/04/1917. *
